Location-survey

According to Section 150 of the Land Use and Building Act, the building control authority may order a ground survey, a site survey and a survey of heating, water and ventilation installations in the building permit, if this is necessary to monitor the construction work.

When the foundations are completed, the client or the responsible supervisor shall order a site survey.

The site inspection checks that the building is in the location required by the building permit.

Construction of the building may not proceed until the site inspection has verified that the building is located in accordance with the drawings or until a deviation has been agreed with the building control authority.

The delivery time for the site survey is approximately 1-2 weeks after ordering and it’s included in the building permit fee.
