Initiation request
Environmental protection deals with written complaints and whistle-blowing. It will not deal with anonymous complaints or whistle-blowing except in exceptional circumstances.
Complaints or reports are made to the Environmental Protection Department by e-mail rak-ymp.lautakunta@laitila.fi or by letter to the Building and Environment Board, Keskuskatu 30, 23800 Laitila. The complaint or denunciation must contain sufficient information to enable the matter to be dealt with. The request for complaint form contains instructions for drawing up a complaint or report.
A written complaint or report submitted to environmental protection is made public as soon as it is received by environmental protection, unless otherwise provided for in the rules on public access to documents. A copy of the complaint or report shall be attached to the summons/order/inspection report sent on the matter. If necessary, complaints and notifications are referred to the City of Laitila Environmental Protection Authority, which is the Building and Environment Committee.
